Ha!

I've waited and hoped for this for a really long time, and I finally saw it happen today:
I'm riding the bus home from the Sox game, and a guy standing on the sidewalk has his pants riding so low that they fell right around his ankles. It was priceless.

In other news, I had a very excellent birthday. Spent the 4th with family and friends before jet setting to Cancun with rainingtulips for a week of total relaxation, mixed in with some good food and sight-seeing.
Chichen-Itza

Cenote Ikil

I'd also like to use this time to make a couple recommendations:
1. The Dark Knight
See it. Right now. It's the most amazing movie I've seen in a very long time, and by far the best superhero movie ever made. Heath Ledger is brilliant! If this wasn't already on your must-see list, put it there. If it was, see it in IMAX.
2. Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog
I was alerted to this by coralia13. It's by Joss Whedon, and it is a musical superhero-ish tale featuring Neil Patrick Harris (yes Doogie Howser himself) and Nathan Fillion matching wits and witticisms. Currently available at iTunes for $3.99, I'm sure it will be free online again somewhere soon.

Aside from the fact that I'm not so sure I would need to see some random guy's boxers....I think seeing someone finally get what he deserves for letting them ride so low would be worth it in the end. I died laughing when I read it.

Sounds like your summer has been going well thus far. Those are some awesome photos.

actually, his shirt was so baggy, that you couldn't actually see anything above his knees :D

Maybe it's happened to him before, then, and he was being prepared.

Your latest post depresses me, by the way.

I didn't want to say anything before, but the guy with his pants falling down? That was my birthday gift to you.
In an unrelated note, I'm telekinetic.

HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!! I hope it was a great one! You deserve it; no one has bigger deltoids of compassion than you.
I can't wait to hear all about the trip!

Thanks! what a great present.

I did, in fact have a great birthday. Hopefully I can relate the tales of Cancun to you in person. Laura and I are contemplating a weekend trip before you flee the country.

Isn't Chichen-Itza spectacular?
